The medical
campaign on September 28-29 was a big success. It happened to be the weekend of the church’s
anniversary here in Santa Maria, so that went on simultaneously. All 9 doctors
were a great help. The dentist
attended to 70 patients; in many cases, he just did fluoride treatments. In
others he pulled teeth; one woman even had three teeth pulled. That is the
usual treatment here. Nobody knows much about oral hygiene. The obstetriz had 14 patients and won three of them to Christ! Other specialties included pediatrics, general medicine, nutrition, and the pharmacy.

even the local pastor and his wife!
A lot of people waited to be seen by the general practicioner. The Lord favored us with good weather all day both days.
